Are you licensed and insured? +
Yes. Comfort Heating & Air is licensed and insured to work in Kansas. Every technician we send is trained and equipped to work safely in your home or business.
Do you offer emergency service? +
Yes. We prioritize heating and cooling emergencies during business hours, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. If your AC or heater quits, call (785) 822-7550 and we will get a technician headed your way, often the same day.
Do you work on commercial buildings? +
Yes. In addition to homes, we install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems for shops, offices, and other light commercial buildings around Central Kansas.

How does your pricing work? +
We use straightforward pricing. You approve the price before any work begins, and the price you approve is the price you pay. No traps or tricks.
How fast can you get to me? +
In most cases we can have a technician at your door the same day. Emergencies move to the front of the line during business hours, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
Should I repair or replace my AC? +
It depends on the age of the unit, the cost of the repair, and how well it handles the summer heat. If your system is more than 10 to 15 years old and facing a major repair, replacement often costs less over time. Our technician will lay out both options so you can decide.
What brands do you service? +
We repair and maintain all major HVAC brands. For new installations we are a Daikin dealer, and we will size and match the right system to your home or building.

Why is my home so humid even with the AC running? +
Kansas summers bring humidity that is hard on cooling systems. An oversized, aging, or low-refrigerant system cools the air without pulling enough moisture out of it. A properly sized system, a dehumidifier, or an indoor air quality upgrade can fix it. We will diagnose the cause and give you a clear plan.
How often should my system be maintained? +
Twice a year: a cooling tune-up in spring and a heating check in fall. Regular maintenance prevents most breakdowns, keeps energy bills down, and protects your manufacturer warranty. Our maintenance plan covers both visits.
What is a ductless mini-split and when does it make sense? +
A ductless mini-split heats and cools a single room or zone without ductwork. It is a good fit for garages, additions, home offices, and rooms your current system never reaches.
