Last updated: August 24, 2026.
Comfort Heating & Air does not sell your personal information for money. We also do not "share" your personal information (as "share" is defined under the CPRA — disclosing it to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising) — we do not currently run advertising cookies or pixels that build cross-site advertising profiles. If that changes, this section will be updated and the choice below will control it.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Site, we collect these categories, only through the tools listed:
- Identifiers & contact information (name, phone number, email address, service address) — collected directly when you submit our request-service, contact, or job application forms. Stored in our HVAC business-management platform (PMS/CRM) to respond to you and schedule service.
- Internet/network activity & commercial information (pages viewed, IP address, browser type, referring page) — collected via standard server/hosting log files for security and site operation, and via optional analytics cookies (see our cookie banner) only after you accept them, or by default outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland under a Google-managed Consent Mode framework (Google Tag Manager) that is not yet active for this site — no advertising/analytics tag is currently configured.
- Form-submission content (your message, service description, or application details) — collected directly, protected from spam by Google reCAPTCHA and a hidden honeypot field on every public form.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (e.g., SSN, precise geolocation, financial-account numbers) through this Site — do not submit that information in our forms.
Your Rights
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to:

- Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Opt out of sale/sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information. As stated above, we do not currently sell or share it; this right is honored automatically, and also honored via your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we detect and apply automatically with no separate opt-out request needed.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised any of these rights.
How to Exercise These Rights
You can exercise these choices in either of the following ways:
- On this Site: use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer at any time to accept or decline optional analytics cookies. Declining, or browsing with Global Privacy Control enabled, immediately denies analytics and advertising storage on our site.

The wording of this section reflects our current tools and practices as of the last-updated date above; final legal sign-off on this section is pending Comfort Heating & Air's own counsel review.
